ma non sara' meglio aspettare ancora un po' e prendersi l' Iphone 6?

mynextcity come eravamo (50 Yy): from sunset to sunrise

"from sunset to sunrise"..... erano gli anni del Much More e del Roxy Go Go, avevamo poco meno di diciotto anni e ballavamo The Tramps (Disco Inferno), Boney M (Daddy Cool), Kid Creole & the Coconuts (Endicott) gli Chick (le Freak), KC & The Sunshine Band 

Giravamo sulla Dyane 6 o sulla 2 Cavalli e alla televisione si guardava Discoring con la sua classifica dei dischi più' venduti (33 e 45 giri) e ci guidavano alla scoperta dei nuovi successi personaggi come  Boncompagni, Cecchetto, Anna Pettinelli,  Jocelen ed il mitico Awana Gana.

Nel 1980 conquistano le vette della classifica dischi come "Upside Down" di Diana Ross, "Video killed the Radio Star" dei Buggles,  "The Wall" dei Pink Floyd, "London Calling" dei Clash; debutta un giovane cantante Cristopher Cross e appare come una meteora il gruppo Knack con la gettonaitssima "My Sharona".

Beh..... sabato scorso ho rivissuto per poche ore quegli anni grazie  ad un amico che ha "suonato" la miglior musica di quel periodo. 

 "from sunset to sunrise" they were the years of  Much More and Roxy Go Go, we  were eighteen years  old or less and we danced The Tramps (Disco Inferno), Boney M (Daddy Cool), Kid Creole & the Coconuts (Endicott) Chick's (the Freak), KC & The Sunshine Band ;

 we used to watch Discoring  on TV, looking at its   "Hit of the POP " (Eps and LPs) ; Boncompagni, Cecchetto, Anna Pettinelli, Jocelen  and the legendary Awana Gana were the big names who drove us in discovering  the hit of  those years.

"Upside Down" by Diana Ross, "Video Killed the Radio Star" by Buggles, "The Wall" by Pink Floyd, "London Calling" by The Clash were some of the LPs that were ranked among the hits of 1980; a young singer Christopher Cross was debuting  and  the band Knack appears like a meteor with  "My Sharona".

Well .....last Saturday for a few hours I relived those years thanks to a friend who has "played" the best music of that period.
